Introduction

Consultant Attorney Wang Yu-Wen's practice scope includes major civil and criminal litigation. Clients include well-known domestic and international companies and listed companies. Prior to joining Chung-Che, Consultant Attorney Wang Yu-Wen served as an attorney, senior attorney, and consultant at Jones Day International Law Firm, assisting listed companies in Taiwan with various major civil and criminal disputes. He also has extensive experience in corporate governance-related disputes, representing clients in lawsuits and defenses related to directors' and officers' responsibilities. Attorney Wang Yu-wen also possesses extensive experience in handling trade secret protection cases, representing clients in pursuing criminal charges against those who steal trade secrets. Attorney Wang has also successfully represented clients in extraordinary appeals and retrials, demonstrating rich experience in court appearances and defense. Attorney Wang provides various legal services to listed companies in Taiwan.


Attorney Wang has in-depth research on issues such as director responsibility and corporate governance for listed companies. He is a lecturer at the Taiwan Securities and Futures Development Foundation and has lectured at the board meetings of various listed companies (including Starlux Airlines, Taiwan Fertilizer, Taiwan Styrene, Dawu Mountain Technology, Powerchip Technology, Kaiji Holdings, Mercury Biotech, etc., totaling 30 listed companies).


Representative cases include: representing a fintech company in a civil investment dispute involving NT$3.6 billion; representing the founder of a financial holding company in a special breach of trust dispute under the Securities and Exchange Act; representing the chairman of a major technology company in a securities and exchange act insider trading dispute; representing the chairman of a fintech company in a criminal breach of trust and investment advisory law dispute; representing the chairman of a listed company in a securities and exchange act stock manipulation dispute; representing the chairman of a technology company in a civil trade secret law dispute involving NT$2.5 billion; representing a listed company in a civil dispute related to a gas explosion incident; representing a listed optical company in a civil dispute related to product defects; assisting a politician in a corruption case; representing the founder of a listed company in obtaining management rights; and representing an international deep-sea fishing company in ESG-related disputes.
